DICE Corporation Year In Review 2019

Company News | January 8, 2020

Thanks to your valued partnership, 2019 was another very successful year! As we look forward to a new year and decade, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on a few of the highlights we shared with you. 2019 was a busy year for the DICE team with the launch of our all-new Tech Security Summit in Nashville, which allowed us to interact with many of our clients and provide valuable information and tips about our products and services. Last year saw a number of product updates and announcements that offer exciting new features and capabilities. We also attended a record number of events, including ISC West, ESX, and GSX, that allowed us to showcase our latest products and meet with many of our DICE users.

Here’s a look at a few of our highlights from the last year.

2019 Tech Security Summit

Our inaugural Tech Security Summit took place at the Sheraton Grand Nashville in April. Combining our annual DICE User Group Conference with a series of educational sessions and panel discussions, this event provided a new platform for leaders in security and alarm monitoring to meet and examine new technology and revenue growth opportunities in an evolving industry.

Video Verification App

In June, we announced the launch of our all-new Video Verification App, which won an ESX Innovation Award for mobile apps. This new product is a completely mobile browser-based tool used in conjunction with our alarm monitoring and event management software. The app process is simple. If an event triggered by an alarm system occurs, app users have more control of how alarm center interaction is handled by viewing live video surveillance and other essential account information.

Patent for Authenticated and Functional SMS Links

As we continue to expand our products and services, we were issued our first patent by the US Patent Office in October. The patent covers authenticated and functional SMS links as part of our award-winning CRM Communications Gateway. DICE Corporation President and Cliff Dice says this is an important step as we grow our SMS CRM technology, adding “Our CRM Communications Gateway is an alarm and service automation tool that helps make central stations more efficient by sending quick links directly to the end user. With this link, users can handle alarms, view video surveillance as it happens, and manage service visits from an easy to access web app.”
