With work, family, technology, and life’s many obligations, it is easy to lose sight of some of the basics we rely on to lead healthy and sustainable lives. Most of us don’t take time to appreciate our homes and basics like clean drinking water and sending our children to school. But for millions living in the Caribbean nation of Haiti, living without the utilities and products we deem necessary to survive is a way of life.
In April, the DICE team and our sister company Venture6 Studio was pleased to participate in an opportunity to give back to Lift Kids, a non-profit in Haiti that provides food and clothing for children in need. A few of our employees were also able to visit an orphanage where our donations of games and supplies were put to use. We are excited to share this brief recap of our visit and encourage you to think about ways to give back. As we witnessed in Haiti, something as small as a toy or water can make a world of difference.
