Last year was an active and transformative time at DICE Corporation and we have you to thank. We reached a major milestone with the official launch of CloudEye, our new cloud video recording solution designed to be adaptable and beneficial for a wide range of uses. This one of a kind browser-based platform eliminates the need for costly and unreliable DVRs and lets users set up multiple cameras off site and in a matter of minutes. We also announced our plans for the all-new Tech Security Summit, which will meet in Nashville April 29 through May 2, 2019. Designed with education in mind, the TSS will combine DICE product information, educational sessions, panel discussions, and networking opportunities, and is open to anyone in the alarm industry.
Here’s a look at these stories and a few more highlights from 2018.
Last year year we officially launched CloudEye, our new ESX Innovation Award-winning cloud video recording platform. With easy do-it-yourself set-up, no costly DVRs or infrastructure, interactive video management, and the ability to integrate with other Matrix products, we’re anticipating CloudEye will become one of the preeminent video recording solutions for 2019. Security Sales & Integration featured an article and video about CloudEye on their website in October.
2019 Tech Security Summit
We announced plans for our all-new Tech Security Summit in October. The four-day event will take place at the Sheraton Grand Nashville Downtown in Nashville, Tennessee April 29 through May 2. The 2019 TSS will combine our annual DICE User Group Conference with new product information, educational sessions, panel discussions, and networking opportunities. This event is open for anyone to attend. Registration, lodging, and travel information can be found at the event’s website.
Partnership with Microsoft Dynamics 365
A new partnership with Microsoft’s Dynamics 365 was announced at ESX in Nashville in June, providing the framework for the security industry’s strongest financial management system. The move to Microsoft allows us to provide our growing community of users with a new platform that will be cloud hosted, optimized for the security industry, and fully integrated with all DICE Matrix web applications, including monitoring, sales management, installation & service, customer portals, and all CRM products.
Giving Back in Haiti
In April, the DICE team and our sister company Venture6 Studio was pleased to participate in an opportunity to give back to Lift Kids, a non-profit in Haiti that provides food and clothing for children in need. A few of our employees were also able to visit an orphanage where our donations of games and supplies were put to use. This was a rewarding opportunity and we encourage you to think about ways to give back in the new year.
